MadamSew was founded in March 2017 by brothers Mark and Richard Fiers. Both of their grandmothers are avid sewers. While looking for sewing-related presents for them online, they found that there were a lot of handy tools available that a lot of people didn’t know about. That inspired Mark and Richard to start MadamSew.com, an online-only store that offers carefully selected sewing tools intended to make sewing easier and more fun. Richard, a former teacher, immediately adopted a focus on providing in-depth instructions with the tools sold in the webstore, along with top-notch customer service, in order to best assist customers. The store was an instant hit, and MadamSew rapidly grew to a company with more than 10 employees and inventory in 2 warehouses (North Carolina for US orders and Guangdong for International orders).
