Anook Athletics was founded in Austin, TX, by prenatal yoga teacher and mama, Allie Lindenmuth. With a non-profit background and years of teaching yoga to mothers of all backgrounds, Allie was always on the lookout for how to better serve the mothers of her community. When she became a mom herself in 2016, Allie noticed there was a huge gap in the athletic apparel market. Due to the lack of high-quality maternity and postpartum workout gear, pregnant and nursing moms (herself included) were having to make their non-maternity workout clothes simply work. Blending her passion to serve women and her love for all things yoga, Allie started Anook Athletics. Allie quickly put together a team of rock star mamas to help create the line with backgrounds ranging from Nike, Lululemon, yoga, health and wellness, and high fashion.
